Brother Dies

Funeral service was conducted for Rev. Chester Anderson Baxter, 70, a retired Baptist Minister, in Wichita Falls, Tuesday afternoon with Rev. John Denton of Downtown Baptist church officiating. Burial was in Highland cemetery of Iowa Park. Mr. Baxter died suddenly at his home last Saturday.

Born July 28, 1891 in Peaster, he was son of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Baxter of Iowa Park.

Surviving are the widow Viola; a son James W. of Champaign, Ill.; four daughters: Mrs. Mary Zimmer of Winston-Salem, N.C., Mrs. Bob Parker of Reno, Nev., Mrs. Don Black of Cincinnati, and Miss Evelyn Baxter of the home; seven brothers: Clyde and Jimmy of Wichita Falls, Joe of Iowa Park, Mike and Howard of Vernon, Eugene of Irving, A. Z. of Los Angeles, Calif.; three sisters: Mrs. Beulah Davis of Perrin, Mrs. Marie Schermer of Miami, Ha., and Mrs. Katheryn Herron of Wichita Falls; and nine grandchildren.
