KAHOKA, Mo. --- Funeral services for Mrs. Lola I. Baker, 75, of Kahoka, who died Friday, Nov. 26 at the Keokuk Area Hospital, were to be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the St. Paul United Church of Christ at Kahoka with the Rev. Dwight Borden officiating. Burial was to be at the Kahoka Cemetery. Memorials may be left to St. Paul Church of Christ. Arrangements were by Shaffer and Sons Funeral Home of Kahoka. She was born April 15, 1907 at Liscomb, Iowa, the daughter of Frederick and Edith Speicher Buchanan. She was married to Myron E. Baker on May 1, 1931. He preceded her in death in 1961. She was a member of the St. Paul United Church of Christ. Survivors include one son, James Baker of Tustin, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Helen Dyche of Anaheim, Calif., and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother and four sisters.
