Lee Daniel Alexander
Winchester --- Lee D. Alexander, 72, R.R. 4, died Thursday at Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie after a short illness.
He was a farmer and retired from Anchor Hocking Corp in 1978.
He was a native of Greensfork Township, the son of Harley L. and Ida B. Harshman Alexander.
He was a member of the Anchor Hocking Sympathy Club of Anchor Hocking, Saratoga Lions Club, Eagles of #2790 in Union City and the Saratoga United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille in October 1988; a son, Keith; and a daughter Karen Sue Miller.
Survivors include one brother, Leland "Pete" Alexander of Union City; two sisters, Helen Long of Richmond and Opal Wall of Dunkirk; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service for Lee D. Alexander will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 24, at the Thayer Funeral Home, with the Rev. Brad Cooper officiating. Burial will be in Fountain Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Saratoga United Methodist Church.
