HELEN M. LONG

Helen Marie Long, 95, formerly of Richmond, living in Hollansburg, Ohio, died Friday, Aug. 31, 2007 in Greenville, Ohio.
She was born May 20, 1912, in Deerfield, Randolph County, Ind., to Harley Louis and Ida Blanche Harshman Alexander and lived in Richmond most of her life.
Helen retired from Earlham College.
Survivors include two daughters, Virgie (Huston) and husband Jim Perrin of Centerville and Phyllis (Huston) and husband Jim Lewis of Murray, Ky.; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, great-great-great grandchildren; her son-in-law, Pete Wolfal of Richmond; nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Marshall Long; two daughters, Margaret Wolfal and Janice (Huston) Wooters; stepdaughter, Mary (Long) Hollingsworth; stepson-in-law, Russell Hollingsworth; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and brothers and sisters, Florence, Lawrence, Pete, Lee, Jock, Joe, and Opal, are deceased.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2007, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Rusty Hollingsworth officiating. Burial will be at Weimer Cemetery in Saratoga. Friends may call 12:30-1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to a favorite charity.
