LaVern Anderson Spainhower passed away Friday, February 8, 1991 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born July 29, 1921 in Genola, Utah to Frederick and Fern York Anderson. She married Wesley B. Spainhower September 13, 1939 in Santaquin, Utah. She loved craftwork and made many things of which she was proud.
She is survived by her husband, Wesley B., Salt Lake City; four daughters, Rhea Spainhower, Salt Lake City; Kaye Brown, Sandy; Gayle Baldwin, Kirkland, Washington; Ann Spainhower, Denver, Colorado; one son, Brent Spainhower, Altus, Oklahoma; three sisters, Hazel Merrill, Salt Lake City; Mary Jane Harward, Kearns; Joann Symmes, Murray; one brother, LeRoy Anderson, West Valley City; 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Merene Scurachio.
Funeral services will be Thursday, February 14, 1991 at 11 a.m. at the Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road. Friends may call Wednesday, February 13, from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the services. Interment will be at Redwood .
