Mary Jane Harward, 89, returned to the loving arms of our Lord, Tuesday, January 10th, 2023.
She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, and a devoted grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother, and loving Aunt.

She was creative, and generous, her nurturing spirit made her unforgettable to those who knew and loved her.

She was the 6th child out of 7 to Fredrick Anderson and Fern York Anderson. She was born October 26, 1933 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She grew up in Murray, Utah and graduated from Jordan High School.

She married Deloy Harward Jan 11, 1952. Deloy and Mary Jane had 6 sons and 2 daughters.

She supported her husband in his career as an over the road truck driver. She also worked as a telephone operator for Hotel Utah.

Mary Jane enjoyed making many crafts, bookmarks, snowflakes, and scissor sleeves. She would fashion with beautiful buttons, she loved to cook, make clothes, and write stories and poems. Her passion was her family.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for most of her life, loved studying the scriptures and the life of the Savior. She believed she would be able to see the second coming of our Lord Jesus, during her lifetime, but will rejoice in Heaven watching that event with loved ones.

Survived by her children, DeeMar (Sherri) Harward , Larry (Debbie) Harward , Shauna (Al) Bork, Jeffrey Harward , Brian Harward, Kyle (Diane) Harward , Kevin Harward , Zoann Finney grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her Husband, Deloy Harward, parents Fredrick and Fern, brothers and sisters, Merene, Hazel, Lavern, Leroy "Bud", Harold, and JoAnn. Also daughter-in-law Debbie Harward and Son-in-law Al Bork and great-grandson Skyler.

A viewing will take place at on January 18, 2023 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah. Funeral services will take place January 19, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Hunter 11th Ward, 5065 W. Janette Ave, West Valley City, Utah.

Interment will be at the Sandy City Cemetery, 700 East 9010 South, Sandy, Utah.
