Born in Santaquin, Utah on January 12, 1938 to Frederic A. and Fern York Anderson. Mom was the youngest of seven children.
Married to Howard Stewart; later divorced. Married to Frederic Symmes. She loved her constant companions, her little fur children - Buddy, Little One, and Sugar.
Survived by her husband, Fred; children, Sherry (Paul) Reutlinger, West Jordan; Kayleen (Denis) Avery, Gunnison; Dan Stewart, Salt Lake City; Kenley (Teresa) Stewart, West Jordan; Bret (Tracie) Stewart, Riverton; step-children, Laura (Craig) Jakeman; Kristine Symmes; Deena VanAusdal; sixteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; sister, MaryJane Harward. Preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Merene Scurachio; Lavern Spainhower; Hazel Merrill; brother, Gerald "Bud" Anderson; grandsons, Brandon Egbert and Chris Stewart.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 16, 2011 in the Butler West Stake Center, 1845 East 7200 South. Friends may call at the church from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 and one hour prior to the services.
Interment: Sandy City Cemetery.
