She was born Sept. 8, 1895, in St. Louis, daughter of the late Robert and Mary (Fencil) Eads.
She was married to the late Melvin A. Greear on Jan. 1, 1919, in St. Louis. He died April 19, 1967.
She is survived by a son, Vernon Greear of Smithfield, Tex., one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
Her parents, her husband, three brothers, two sisters and one son preceded her in death.
Mrs. Greear was a member of the First Christian Church in Vandalia and a 50-year member of the Melrose Chapter 243 OEO in Vandalia.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. Wednesday in the Lesley Marks Funeral Home. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Lesley Marks Funeral Home, with Rev. Charles Turner of Edwardsville officiating.
OEO services will be at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glen Carbon Cemetery.
