Funeral services for Newton J. Barrett, 66 of 2817 South Franklin St., will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Parson mortuary, the Reverend Harry Case officiating. Burial will be in Tomlinson Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary after 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Mr. Barrett, who died yesterday following an illness of 18 months, had resided in Muncie for 30 years, coming here from Harrodsburg. He was formerly employed at the Owens-Illinois Company.
Surviving are a son and two daughters;
