Avery Oldham Tingle, 50, farmer of the Mt Gilead neighborhood, died Tuesday at 1 am at St Anthony's Hospital in Louisville.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs Louise Tingle; six daughters, Mrs T W Comer, Campbellsburg; Mrs Abbie Ricketts, Turners Station; Miss Pauline Tingle, Miss Juanita Tingle, Miss Linda Lou Tingle and Miss Sue Carroll Tingle, all at home; three sons: R S Tingle and Herbert Tingle, both of near New Castle, and Marvin Tingle, at home, and several brothers.
Funeral services ere conducted at the New Castle Methodist Church at 2 pm wednesday, with Reverend O B Crockett officiating. Burial was in thhe New Castle cemetery.
