Angeline Kane Heflin, was the daughter of Ambrose Kane, Civil War veteran, of Bealeton, Virginia, and Matilda Kearnes.
Children: (James) Roger Heflin, Gerry Gelesper "Guy" Heflin, Lillie Heflin Godfrey, and Ruben Ambrose Heflin (my father). Step-mother to several children from her husband's first marriage to Roberta Butler Heflin.

DIES AT HOME IN CATLETT
The community and family of Mrs. Angeline Kane Heflin, of Catlett, Virginia, were indeed saddened by her sudden passing last Friday, March 20, as a result of a severe case of pneumonia.
Mrs. Heflin, though 79 years of age, performed active services in her home and church until the last, and her inspirational guidance will certainly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services were held Sunday, March 22, at the Presbyterian Church near Catlett, Virginia, where Mrs. Heflin had been a member for a number of years.
She is survived by three children, Mrs. H. B. Godfrey, Gainesville, Virginia; Messers. Guy and Ruben Heflin, Catlett, Virginia; also thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
