FUNERAL SERVICES HELD SATURDAY FOR MRS. W. M. FRAZEE

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Comin in the Presbyterian church Saturday for Mrs. W. M. Frazee who passed away December 15 at the home of her son, Willard, north of Summerfield. Burial was in the Summerfield cemetery.

Kate Ellen Robeson Frazee, who passed away at the home of her son, Willard, north of Summerfield, Kansas, was one of the early pioneers of the Summerfield community.

Kate Ellen Robeson, daughter of David Porter and Sarah Miranda Robeson, was born near Morning Side, Iowa, November 2, 1866, and departed this life Wednesday evening, December 15, 1943 at the age of 77 years, one month and thirteen days. She was the last survivor of the nine children of the david and Sarah Robeson family.

In her early childhood the family moved to Page county, Iowa, near Clarinda. In 1894 the Robeson family moved to the Summerfield community and lived in the house which is now occupied by Mrs. Wilbur Reed. In this house Kate E. was united in marriage to William M. Frazee on February 1, 1899. To this union were born two sons; Howard of Stella, Nebr., and Willard of Summerfield, Kansas; and one daughter, Annabel Morrill of Ft. Morgan, Colo.

William Frazee preceded his wife in death, having passed to his eternal reward, July 21 of this year.

Mrs. Frazee united with the church of her childhood. She was ever active in the work of the church. She was received into the membership of the Summerfield congregation by letter from the Page Center United Presbyterian church, Page Center, Ia., on March 24, 1894.

She was a faithful attendant upon the services of the church until her health prevented. She was a regular attendant at the Sabbath school as is attested by her reward for seven consecutive years attendance before the record was broken by the illness of her husband. Her loyalty to his needs caused her to remain at home.

Mrs. Frazee was also active in the Women's Missionary Society where she held the office of treasurer at the time of her death.

Besides the children she is survived by nine grandchildren, two nieces, several nephews, as well as other relatives.
