William Ralph Ward, 80

William Ralph Ward, 80, of 175 Gainesville St., Carnesville, died Thursday, June 13, 1996, at his residence.
Born in Franklin County, Mr. Ward was the son of the late Plomer and Dora Ophelia Mangum Ward. He was also preceded in death by his brother Roy Ward and a sister Pauline Banks. He was a farmer and member of the Allens United Methodist Church.
Survivors include wife, Hattie Mildred McMurry, Carnesville; Sons, William Ward, Baldwin, Kenneth Ward, Canon, David Ward, Lavonia; sister, Geraldine McFarlin, Carnesville; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 1996, in Ginn Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Randy Lamb and the Rev. Mike Robertson will officiate. Burial will be in Allens United Methodist Church Cemetery.
