Carnesville, GA -- Dora Ophelia Ward, 94, of Route 3, Widow of Plomer Ward, died July 17, 1989 at Cobb Nursing Center in Comer.
Born in Franklin County, she was a daughter of the late William Marcus and Hattie Lowter Mangum. She was a homemaker and a member of the Allens United Methodist Church.
Surviving are son, Ralph Ward of Carnesville; daughter, Mrs. Geraldine McFarlin of Carnesville, sisters, Mrs. Reba Brown of Hollingsworth and Mrs. Gertrude Trimnal of Baltimore, Md.; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
Services at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Ginn Memorial Chapel by the Rev. Douglas Brown. Burial in the Allen United Methodist Church Cemetery
