Plomer Ward
Carnesville, GA - Plomer Ward, 79, died Sunday afternoon at Brown's Convalescent Center, Royston, after an extended illness. He was a lifelong residence of Carnesville, a son of the late William C. and Ida Kesler Ward. He was a retired farmer and a member of Allens Methodist Church.
Survivors: his widow, Mrs. Dora Mangrum Ward; one son Ralph Ward of Carnesville; one daughter, Mrs. Geraldine McFarland of Carnesville; one brother, Claude Ward of Carnesville; three sisters, Mrs. G. D. Purcell, Misses Mae and Beulah Ward, all of Carnesville; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Allen's Methodist Church with the Revs. Jack Gillespie, Alton Ray and Arthur Cardin officiating. Burial in the church cemetery. The body is at Ginn Funeral Home and will be placed in the church at 2 p.m. Tuesday.
