Robert Langston Dies Here Friday Morning
Robert Langston, one of the community's most highly respected citizens, died at his home here Friday morning March 19, at the age of 77.
He was born in the vicinity of Flat Rock and practically all of his life was spent in this county. He united with the Methodist Church in 1885 and remained a devout Christian throughout his life.
Surviving are two sons, Oth Langston of Forty-Four and Ervin Langston of Los Angeles, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs Elvie Faught of Oxford; two sisters, Misses Polly and Nancy Langston of Calico Rock.
The funeral was held at Flat Rock Church Saturday afternoon, Rev W. T. Watson conducting the services. Burial was in Flat Rock Cemetery under direction of the Roller Funeral Service.
