Mr. Karl Joseph Schumpelt of San Antonio, Texas, formerly of New Braunfels, Stonewall and Harper, Texas passed away in the Vitas Inpatient Hospice in San Antonio, Texas on Friday, June 3rd, 2011 at the age of 81 years.

He was born in Harper, Texas, on August 12th, 1929, the son of Walter Carl Schumpelt and Helena Heinemann Schumpelt.

Worked as a Farmer & Rancher, employed at the Boehl's Button Factory in Stonewall, also as a carpenter.

Preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Anita, Mrs. Louis Korus and Lottie, Mrs. Edmund Jacoby

Karl is survived by two brothers, two sisters and numerous nieces & nephews

Graveside services and interment of his cremains will be held on Saturday, June 11th, 2011 at 10:00 A. M. in the Stonewall Community Cemetery in Stonewall, Texas, with Deacon Curtis Klein Officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Schaetter Funeral Home of Fredericksburg, Texas.
