Mrs. Roy Jung nee Rosalie Margarita Schumpelt of San Antonio passed away on Monday November 17th in San Antonio at the age of 77 years.
Rosalie was born April 27, 1937 in Stonewall, TX to Walter and Helena Heinemann Schumpelt.
Rosalie married Roy Jung on April 23, 1960 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Stonewall, TX
Rosalie is survived by four children and spouses: James Jung of San Antonio, TX Daniel and Analia Jung of San Antonio, TX Barbara and Tracy Tullous of Oklahoma Susan and Chris Olsen of Schertz, TX Five grandchildren: Matthew Jung, Dustin Tullous, Kaitlen Jung, Corbin Olsen and Garrett Olsen Brother sister and spouses: Werner and Alice Schumpelt of Harper, TX Marie and Leroy Koenig of Yorktown, TX Sister-in–laws: Mae Jung of Tennessee, Ruby Jung of Fredericksburg, TX, and Erlene Jung of San Antonio, TX
Along with her husband and parents, Rosalie is preceded in death by a son: Allen Roy Jung, Siblings: Karl Schumpelt, Walter Schumpelt, Anita Korus, and Lottie Jacoby
Her body will lie in state in the Chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home until 9:00 a.m. on Monday November 24th and from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in St. Francis Catholic Church with a Mass of Resurrection at 11:00 a.m. in Church.
Graveside services and interment will follow in Stonewall Community Cemetery.
Rosary services will be held on Sunday November 23rd at 5:00 p.m. in the Schaetter Funeral Home with Deacon Ed Ferguson officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the St. Francis Catholic Church or to the Stonewall Cemetery Association.
Visitation for Rosalie Jung will be held on Sunday November 23rd from 3 to 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home.
