Obituary: Mrs. Grace L. Gragg died at her home near Canton July 16th and the funeral was held at the family home Thursday, July 18th, after which the remains were brought to Canton and burial in Forest Grove Cemetery. The funeral was preached by Miss Daisy Renick, Pentecostal preacher from Ewing.

Grace Medley was born near Peoria, Ill., August 29, 1877, and died at her home near Canton July 16, 1930, being at the time of her death 52 years, 10 months and 27 days of age.

She united with the Methodist Church at the age of 12 years, but later in life she turned her faith to the Pentecost belief and remained a consistent believer in that faith until her death.

December 25, 1896, she was married to John Atkins and to this union were born three children who are Jodie, of Columbia, Iowa; Mrs. John Smith of Avery, Iowa, and Mrs. Enoch Smith of near Alexandria, this state.

The deceased was married the second time and on March 4, 1903, she became the wife of Ben Gragg and to this union were born seven children who are, Mrs. Lizzie Playle, Thomas, Clara, Veda and Ray, all of near Canton. Two of the children, both boys, preceded her in death. There are also eight grandchildren, together with a host of relatives and numerous friends.
