88, of Lexington, widow of James O. Abbott, passed away peacefully Tue, Oct 25, 2011 at Central Baptist Hospital. She was born in Clark County but resided many years in Lexington. She is survived by one son, Scot Sterling (Linda) Abbott of Madison County, KY; four sisters, Shirley (William) Perrett, Dorothy Cassada, Christine (Neale) Hall and Genevieve Wagoner; two brothers, William Bowman (Marie) and Neville Bowman; and a step grandson, Matthew Johnson. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ann Gillispie, and a son, Kirk Abbott. Funeral services will be 12pm Mon at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Main St. Burial will be in Lexington Cemetery. Visitation 10am-12pm Mon.
