Annabelle Wanita Midtgard, 86, of Pioneer, Ohio and formerly of the Jonesville and Hillsdale area, passed away Friday, October 28, 2011 at Bronson Hospital in Battle Creek. She was born April 14, 1925 in Allen, Michigan to Charles & Lucile (Snider) Price. Annabelle married Edward W. Midtgard on November 16, 1952 and he preceded her in death on December 19, 2004.
Annabelle was a former employee at Bell Telephone in Hillsdale. She was a graduate of Allen High School and Jonesville High School. She was also a member of the Moscow Plains United Methodist Church.
Surviving is a daughter, Dianne (Rick) Searfoss of Pioneer, Ohio; 3 grandchildren, twins Austin and Audra Searfoss of Findlay, Ohio; and Sterling Searfoss of Pioneer, Ohio.
Graveside funeral services for Annabelle Midtgard will be Friday, November 4, 2011, at 11:00 a.m., at the Sunset View Cemetery in Jonesville with Reverend Cyril Page officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation Thursday from 6-8 p.m., at the VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home in Hillsdale.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Grosvenor House Museum in Jonesville
