JONESVILLE -- Charles Fredrick Price, 85, retired farmer residing at 570 E. Chicago Rd., died this morning at Maplelawn Hospital where he had been a patient for a month.
He was born Dec. 22, 1873 in Paulding County, Ohio and had resided in Hillsdale County for about 36 years. His parents were Richard and Mary Jane Good Price.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Edward (Anne) Midtgard of Jonesville, a sister, Mrs. Martha Holtsberry of Detroit, a brother T. W. of Green Springs, Ohio and a granddaughter, Dianne Lucile Midtgard of Jonesville.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 at the Beebe Funeral Home. The Rev. Carl Staser of the Jonesville Methodist Church will officiate and burial will be in Sunset View Cemetery. The family will meet friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 7:30 to 9.
