David Coonrod, 74 years old, a well known resident of the Sitka neighborhood, passed away Sunday night about 11 o'clock at his home two miles northeast of Sitka, following an illness with pneumonia.
Surviving are the widow, who is in a critical condition with pneumonia, four daughters, Mrs. Geneva Bailey of Danville, Illinois, Mrs. Edith Evernham of Waveland, Mrs. Stella Girard of South Bend, and Mrs. Inez Englert of Monon, and two sons, Guy of Sitka and Harold of South Bend.
The funeral will be held at the Sitka church at 1:30 this afternoon with burial at the Buffalo cemetery.
