Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Blanche Rebecca Stark Lord, returned to her Heavenly Father August 23, 1990, from causes incident to age.

She was born November 17, 1904 in Spanish Fork, Utah to Alma Pedersen and Christiane Johanna Hansen Stark. She married Walter Lord, February 6, 1928 in Salt Lake City; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died July 3, 1982. She loved music, especially the violin. Performed with the Tam o'Shanter Girls Orchestra. A member of the Golden Years Orchestra. Played as a violin soloist on numerous occasions. She had been a member of the Tabernacle Choir. Life-long member of the LDS Church. Temple Worker. Served a stake mission and served in all the auxiliary organizations.

Survived by children and their spouses, W. David and Gloria Lord, North Salt Lake; L. James and Marlene Lord, Phillip A. and Marjorie Lord, all of Salt Lake; Ralph K. and Norma Lord, Sandy; Dianne M. and Roy Shaw, Alexandria, Virginia; 36 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; three sisters, and two brothers, Grace Foutz, LaVerne Wahlen, Shirley Dimmick, Alois and Ray Stark; preceded in death by a daughter, Elaine Williams.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 11 a.m., Riverside Ward, 1100 West 500 No., Salt Lake City. Friends may call Tuesday 6-8 p.m. Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Rd. and Wednesday one hour prior to services at the Church. Interment: Mountain View Memorial Estates.
