Shirley June Dimmick 1924 ~ 2004 Shirley June Dimmick age 79 passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 6th, 2004 in Houston, Texas. She was born June 18th, 1924 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Alma Pedersen Stark and Christiana Johanne Hansen. She married Charles William Gribble on March 3rd, 1942 in Evanston WY, and later married Don Harvey Dimmick on April 27th, 1951. Shirley lived most of her life in Salt Lake City, Utah. As a youth she attended West High School. As the daughter of pioneer parents and grandparents, Shirley exhibited a great pioneer spirit of strength and endurance. She saw to it that her children were raised to adhere to the values and the principles of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had a great love of animals especially dogs. She showed champion German Shepherds. Her love of animals was only exceeded by her love of family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved to cook, knit, sew, and crochet...
