He was 88, born on January 30, 1921 in Clio, Livingston Parish, Louisiana - where he was laid to rest next to his loving and devoted wife, Julia Toups Glover "Juju", who preceded him in death. He cared for her endlessly and with adoring dedication until her death. Julia and Percy were only months away from their 64th wedding anniversary.
Percy was born to the late John Luther and Olivia Berthelot Glover. He is preceded in death by his sister, Mary Glover Barton and his 4 brothers - William, John, Thomas and Darrel Glover.
He is survived by his 3 daughters, 2 son-in-laws, 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
After 30 years of service with the Exxon Sales Department in Baton Rouge, as a gas-tank truck driver and mechanic, he retired to the his childhood home on the Amite River, where he was born and raised. In retirement he continued his passion and enjoyment of fishing on the Amite River and Lake Maurepaus.
He was a World War*II Veteran, having served in the Army Air Corp in the Philipines and state side ~
