Thomas Frank " Tommy" Glover Sr., 84, a native of Clio and resident of Houma, died at 2:04 a.m. Monday May 29, 2000.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Funeral services will
be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with interment in Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy " Dot"
Barrett Glover of Houma; two sons, John L.
Glover and wife, Joan, and Thomas F. Glover Jr., all of Houma; two
daughters, Mrs. Alfred (Betty) Gillespie and Mrs. Martin (Phala)
LaCoste, both of Houma; two stepsons, John and Barry Whitten,
both of Houma; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Clint (Teresa) Domangue
Sr. and Ann Whitten, both of Houma; one brother, Daniel " Percey"
Glover of Houma; 18 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John L. and Olivia
Berthelot Glover; three brothers, William " Bill" , Darrel Arthur and John Henry Glover; one sister, Mary Glover Barton; two infants sisters, names not provided; and one great-granddaughter, Allison Savoie.

He was a retied real estate broker. He was one of the founders of Silver King Rodeo Association, a member of the Krewe of Hercules, a member of the Terrebonne Sportsman League, a member of the National Rifle Association, a member of the Clio Hunting Club and a member of AOPA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Houma
Shriners Club or the Providence High School.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

That said the below info.

The "IN MEMORY OF" Stones; these 3 stones have been placed in remembrance of 3 out of the 5 sons of John Luther Glover & Olivia Berthelot Glover. Darrel is buried in New Orleans, John is buried in Ponchatoula & Tommy is buried in Houma. We hope to honor them by adding their names next to the many generations of Glovers, Sharps, Bartons, Davidsons ...etc They may not have physically been laid to rest in Davidson Cemetery but they are with all of their family in spirit.
