Olivia Berthelot Glover was the daughter of Francois "Frank" Henry Berthelot and Martha Mot "Elvise" Sanchez Berthelot. In 1906, Olivia became the wife of John Luther Glover. The Glover's built their family home on Lower Rome Ferry Road and Huff Chapel Road in Clio, Livingston Parish, Louisiana. *

Olivia became the Mother to; William Buckner, John Henry, Mary Elizabeth, Thomas Frank, Darrel Arthur, Hester Rose, Melbia Unidee, and Daniel Percy Glover. Hester Rose and Melbia Unidee, died in infancy. *

After a long illness, Olivia died on 11 Oct 1928 in New Orleans, Orleans Parish, Louisiana, from throat, sinus (mastoid) and stomach cancer. Her youngest living child, Daniel Percy Glover, was only 7 years old at the time of Olivia's death. *

"Percy's" sister Mary Elizabeth, raised Percy - being the only female in the household and 10 years his senior. Mary also, cared for her Father, John Luther Glover and two other brothers still living at home. *

Olivia Berthelot Glover is interred in Davidson Cemetery, next to her husband John Luther Glover. Also, her children...Hester Rose, Melbia Unidee, William Buckner, Daniel Percy and Mary Elizabeth Glover are interred in Davidson Cemetery, in Clio, Livingston Parish, Louisiana. ****

Three "IN MEMORY OF" markers are placed next to each other in Davidson Cemetery - for Olivia Berthelot and John Luther's three sons; John Henry Glover, Sr., Thomas Frank Glover, Sr., and Darrel Arthur Glover. *

They are all interred in different cemeteries in Louisiana. We wanted to honor the three of them - even though their bodies are not interred with their parents, brothers, sisters, paternal Grandparents, cousins, Aunts and Uncles...we know that they are with our family in spirit. *
Olivia's parents are interred in Wetmore Cemetery, Ponchatoula, Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana. *
