Mrs. Minnie Bricker, 66, of Granite City, died Monday in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Granite City.
She was born in Ora Township, Jackson County, on Feb. 25, 1899, the daughter of James A. and Callie Manor Casteel. She was married to Charles A. Bricker on June 30, 1923, in Granite City. He died in 1962.
She leaves sisters, Mrs. Grace Garver of Campbell Hill, Mrs. Vida Garver of Ava, and Mrs. Bernice Woodward of Vergennes; and a brother, William Casteel of Ava. One brother and three sisters preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Wilson Funeral Home, Ava. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Ava. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Wednesday.
