Born Oct. 20, 1900 in Jackson, Miss. Lived 12 years in Rockford, coming here from Peoria. Married to Glover Alford in Decatur, Ill. April 5, 1924.
Survivors include her husband, Glover.
Services at noon Thursday, Aug. 1, in C.A. Moore Funeral Home, 1626 Clifton Ave. with the Rev. D.W. Heath, pastor of Second Christian church, officiating. Burial in Cedar Bluff Cemetery.
