Funeral services for Mr. Penn D. BANKSTON, 84, of Farmerville will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 3, 2010 at Farrar Funeral Home with Bro. Wayne Whiteside officiating. A private burial will follow. Arrangements are under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.
Mr. Bankston, a retired welder, died May 1, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Jean Bankston and 2 brothers: Phillip and Wayne BANKSTON. Survivors are his son: Penn BANKSTON and wife Pat, of Farmerville; 2 daughters: Sheila BANKSTON Cook of Abita Springs, LA and Rosemary BANKSTON Fitzgerald of West Monroe; 3 grandchildren: Ted BANKSTON and wife Jessica; Thomas William Cook and Ashley Nicole Fitzgerald; 1 sister Mattie Virgina BANKSTON Storts; numerous nieces and nephews and 2 special caretakers, who were like family: Rhonda Tucker and Nelwyn Knighton. A special thanks to those wonderful ladies.
Pallbearers will be Kinnith Johnston, Randy Smith, Alan Bankston, Jake Bankston, Bo Thompson and Rick Hill.
