Mrs. Mary A. Berlin Dies Saturday At 96
Mrs. Mary Amanda Berlin of 7 Harold St. died at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in Grandview Extendicare of Franklin, where she had been a resident for one month. She was 96. Born September 16, 1878, in Forest County, she was a daughter of Justus and Lucy Woods Sandrock.
She married Archie F. Berlin, who died May 15, 1943. Mrs. Berlin was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church.
Survivors include Three Sons, Ralph Berlin of Oil City, Jay D. Berlin of Rockmere and Dale Berlin of Franklin; five daughters, Mrs. Marguerite Davison, Mrs. Viola Spence, Mrs. Violet McCauley and Mrs. Alice Gold, all of Oil City, and Mrs. Carrie Stack of Cape Coral, Fla.; one brother, Floyd Sandrock of Oil City; two sisters, Mrs. Dorothea Stollenberg of Largo, Fla. and Mrs. Della Jamieson of Clearwater, Fla; 30 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren and a number of great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her husband, by one son and two daughters.
Friends may call anytime at the Charles A. Morrison Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm today and Tuesday. The body will be taken at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday to Calvary United Methodist Church where services will be held at 11 am, with Rev. Paul R. Smith officiating. Interment will be in Grove Hill Cemetery.
