Archie Berlin Dies Suddenly
Archie F. Berlin, 70, of 7 Harold St., died suddenly about 2:45 p.m. Saturday at the Pennsylvania railroad yards at the South Side round house while talking to some friends. He had been in ill health for several years.
He was born in Clarion county on June 27, 1872, and had lived in Oil City for the past 30 years. Mr. Berlin was a member of the First Evangelical Church.
Surviving are his wife and the following children: Marion Berlin of Seneca, Mrs. Margaret Ross, Ralph and Dale Berlin, Mrs. Russell Spence, Mrs. Lionel McCauley, and Mrs. George Wike of Oil City, Mrs. J.A. Benninger of West Middlesex, Mrs. E.R. Stock of Pittsburgh, Twila Berlin at home and J. Delane Berlin of the U.S. navy.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the family home with Rev. A. J. Kimmel, pastor of First Evangelical Church, officiating. Interment will be in Grove Hill Cemetery.
