CARLSBAD--Angelita Carrasco Hensley, 88, of Center Street, died Sunday, June 15, 1997, at Lakeview Christian Home, Northgate Unit.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and 8-9 a.m. Wednesday in the West Funeral Home Chapel.
A Christian Wake will be held at 7 p.m. today in West Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a,m. Wednesday at San Jose Catholic Church with the Father Noel Kramer officiating.
Burial will be in Santa Catarina Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by West Funeral Home Inc.
She was born on Feb. 14, 1908, to Elauterio and Longina Olivas Carrasco in Redford, Texas. She moved to Otis at the age of ten.
She married Juan Torres Hensley in Carlsbad and they moved to Carlsbad in 1967. She was a member of San Jose Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Juan Torres Hensley; a son, Samuel Hensley; and a daughter, Rosa Hensly Gonzalez.
Survivors are sons, Juan C. and Jimmy C. Hensley, both of Carlsbad; daughters, Elisa H. Munoz of Carlsbad and Esperanza H. Gonzales of El Paso; brother, Pablo Carrasco of Redford; sisters, Francisca C. Holguin, Petra C. Gonzalez, and Cleofas C. Rodriquez, all of Carlsbad, Manuela C. Hernandez of Oregon; 21 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Mark Hensley, Richard H. Gonzalez, Sammy H. Munoz, Rosendo H. Gonzales, Francisco Hensley, Jocelyn Hensley, Angie Sanchez, Melinda Hensley.
