Last rites for Mrs. Longino Carrasco, longtime resident of the Carlsbad area, will be held tomorrow morning at the San Jose Catholic Church.
Mrs. Carrasco died this morning at a local hospital after a long illness. She was 70 years old.
A resident of this area since 1917, she was born March 15, 1881, in Redford, Tex.
Her survivors include four sons, Catarina of Malaga, Salome and Candelario of Loving, and Pablo of Redford; seven daughters, Mrs. Adela Luna and Mrs. Angelita Torrez of Carlsbad, Mrs. Francisco Olguin and Mrs. Cleofas Rodriguez of Otis, Mrs. Petra Gonzalez and Mrs. Manuela Hernandez of Loving, and Mrs. Maria Ruiz of Malaga; 50 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Interment will be at Santa Catarina Cemetery under direction of West Funeral Home.
