Jeanne Bills Cluff, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 14, 2011 at the age of eighty-four, exactly four years to the date following the passing of her husband.

Jeanne was born the sixth child of nine siblings on March 6, 1927 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Wilford Lester and Rhoda Irene Vincent Bills. She graduated from South High School, where she met her husband, DeMoine Cluff.

She was employed as a bookkeeper in various companies and retired after twenty-one years from the University of Utah as an accountant in the payroll department.

Jeanne loved to work in her yard, was an excellent seamstress, and will be remembered for the wonderful handmade gifts given to family, co-workers, and neighbors.

She loved the Christmas season with its emphasis on giving to others, lightening burdens, and bringing cheer through colorful creations.

Jeanne was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where she served faithfully in various positions in the Relief Society, Young Women, and Primary organizations.

She demonstrated an unwavering faith in the Savior, Jesus Christ and His Gospel plan of salvation. She loved and cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will remember her for kindness, faith, and gentle sense of humor.

Jeanne is survived by her children Stephanie Watts (Bill), Ronald C. Cluff, Richard B. Cluff (Ann), and Sharon Cook; twenty-one grandchildren; and twenty-five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, DeMoine; son, Mark S. Cluff (Lana); parents and siblings.

The family would like to express appreciation to Cherie Uzzel and the wonderful staff at Alta Ridge in Holladay and Millcreek Hospice for their loving, tender care given to mom during her illness.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 South Highland Drive (1495 East). The family will greet friends at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary on Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
