Mrs. Verdia E. McNary, 76 of 623 Orange st., died at 6:30 a.m. today at County Memorial hospital, where she had been in failing health for three months.
Born, Dec. 11, 1879, in Bedford township, she was the daughter of William and Martha Wable. In 1898 she was married to James A. Hughes, who is deceased. June 30, 1954, she was married Mr. McNary, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Dwight Hughes of Coshocton and Chester Hughes of Akron; a daughter, Mrs. Twila Wilhoite of Zanesville; eight grandchildren; a step-daughter, Mrs. Grace Fair of Ashland; a step-son, Lester McNary of Huron; five step-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Sam Shaffer and Mrs. Lester McCurdy, both of Coshocton, and one brother, Clay Wable of Fresno, Two sisters and a brother are deceased.
Services will be held from the Fischer funeral home in Warsaw at 2 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Valley View cemetery, Warsaw.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday until time of the service.
