Mrs. Jessie Turner Clark, 83 of 1220 Clearmont Ave. S.E., Canton, a former Coshocton resident, died at Rose Lane Nursing Home in Massillon at 1 a.m. Monday following a long illness.

She was born July 1, 1894, in Bedford Township, Coshocton County, to William H. and Martha Howell Wable.

Her late husband, Wesley Clark, died Jan. 20, 1977. Mrs. Clark was a former member of EUB Church and the Homemakers Club.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Sylvester (Marie) Shuck of Coshocton, Mrs. Robert (Donna) Weingarth of Coshocton and Mrs. Ken (Carol) Eaton of North Canton; four grandchildren; a brother Clay Wable, of Fresno; and a sister, Mrs. Addie Shaeffer of Coshocton. One daughter, three sisters and a brother preceded in death.

Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home with the Rev. David Elmore officiating. Burial will be in South Lawn cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday 7 – 9 p.m. and until time of services on Wednesday.
