June Adams Duncan Rogers was born November 11, 1930 in Electra, Texas, the only daughter of L.Z. and Marguerite Crawford Adams. She was their "Junie." She spent her childhool years in Olney, Texas, in the Sherrer community. She was known for her stunning beauty and brilliant smile. She was a friendly people person with a gift of gab and a heart of gold. She was extremely creative, loved to cook and was an exceptional dessert cook who would turn out several picture-perfect cream pies in one session. She loved her family, Christmas, cartoons, yellow roses, and watching professional sports. Her life was cut short through complications of cancer when radiation treatment damaged her heart. June was preceded in death by her father in 1982 and both of her brothers, L.Z. Jr. in 1983, only two months after his father, and Dewey in 1984. She was a precious "Mamma" to Darla, Kay, Ann, Sue, and Jon Mark, and grandmother and great-grandmother to many. Her mother, Marguerite Adams, outlived her by six years. June married Bill Rogers on Dec. 13, 1986 in Graford. She passed from this life, much to soon, on Saturday, September 5, 1992, into the arms of her savior, Jesus Christ. We love you, Mamma, and miss you every day; we will be with you soon. I Cor 2:9 "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him."
