STATESBORO - Mrs. Mary Agnes Donaldson McBride, age 64, died Thursday at her residence. The native and lifelong resident of Bulloch County was a 1962 graduate of Portal High School. Mrs. McBride was employed with Georgia Southern University for 32 years as the administrative assistant to the director of the Physical Plant. She was a member of the Statesboro First Baptist Church. Mrs. McBride was preceded in death by her parents, J. Gordon and Wilma Akins Donaldson; and a sister, Frances Wilson.

Surviving is her husband of 42 years, Arnold McBride of Statesboro; a daughter and son-in-law, Rashanna and David Saul of Augusta; two grandchildren, Katelyn and Emily Shaw of Texas; and three brothers, Charles Ellis and Robert Donaldson, both of Statesboro, and Edwin Donaldson of Uvalda. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

The funeral service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home with Ronnie Alderman officiating. Interment will be in the Upper Mill Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home of Statesboro is in charge of arrangements.
