On 06-16-1930 he married Gladys Gertrude Lynn, the daughter of George H. & Louella Lula (O'Dell) Lynn. They were the parents of 3 children; Mary Lynn Leedy, Robert Burns Leedy and Jay Eugene Leedy.
Gene's wife Gladys died Aug. 28th, 1977. Eugene died Jul. 21st, 1998 in Woodson Co., KS and is buried at Cedarvale Cemetery, Woodson Co., KS.
