Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Hicks, age 79 years and 6 days, passed away at her home five miles northwest of Ash, Monday morning. Deceased is survived by five children, her husband preceding her in death a number of years ago. Funeral services will be conducted from the home Thursday by Rev. G. E. Neely and burial will be made in the Hughes cemetery.
