James D Miller, 28 yrs old, died at 7 o'clock Wed evening at the Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
A veteran of World War II and a member of the U.S. Air Force, he was born & reared in the Dick Johnson Township community of Clay County. He was a member of the Scottish Rite of Indianapolis and Centennial Lodge No 541, F&AM of Brazil. He graduated from Brazil High School with the class of 1941.
Survivors are his bride of three months, Mrs Georgeanna Miller, of Indianapolis; his mother, Mrs Amelia Miller Rt# 1 Brazil; three sisters, Mrs Thelma Hopper of Monticello, Mrs Phoebe Brush & Mrs Isabell Knox of Jackson, Mich; and three brothers, Ben Miller of Andover, Mass, Joseph Miller of Monticello and Andrew Miller of Brazil.
The body was taken to the Harry Moore Peace Chapel on E Michigan St in Indianapolis, where funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 Sat afternoon. Burial in Crown Hill.
