Benjamin Miller, 81, 121 Andover St., died Nov. 24, 1986 at Lawrence General Hospital.
Mr. Miller was a dryer tended for many years at J. P. Stevens Co. in North Andover and later was a custodian with the Andover Public Schools for 16 years prior to his retirement in 1972.
He was born in Brazil, Ind. and lived in Andover for 62 years. He was a member of St. Matthew Lodge AF & AM in Andover, the Bethany Commandary, Lawrence, and the Aleppo Shrine in Wilmington.
He is survived by his wife, Doris (Downs) Miller; sons, Bartley of Salem, N.H., and William of Andover; brothers Joseph of Indiana and Andrew of Michigan; a sister, Mrs. Phoebe Brush of Michigan; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be today at 1 p.m. at Caron Funeral Home, 30 Main St., North Andover. Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery.
