Thelma Hopper, 73, Monticello,
died Sunday, June 20, 1982, at St.
Elizabeth Hospital. She had been ill
several months and hospitalized two
months.
Born in 1908 in Cardonia to Alexander
and Amelia Boot Miller, she
was married October 24, 1929, to
James H. Hopper, who died May
12, 1969.
She attended the Presbyterian
Church at Monticello and had
worked for many years as a surgical
technician at the White County
Memorial Hospital until her retirement
in 1976.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs.
Buddy (Sue) Holloway, Rt. 1,
Delphi; three brothers , Ben Miller
of Andover, Mass., Joe Miller of
Monticello and Andrew Miller of
Brazil; a sister, Phoebe Brush of
Jackson, Mich.; four grand
daughters and one great-
granddaughter.
Services were this afternoon,
Wednesday, at Monticello with interment
in Riverview Cemetery.
