Mrs. Mary Ellen (Leach) Clark, 50, of 1710 South Fourth, died Friday at St. Elizabeth hospital where she had been a patient four days. She had been ill a year.
Born in Jasper county, she married Raymond E. Clark in 1926. They moved here from Monon 20 years ago. Mrs. Clark was a member of the Salvation Army.
Surviving are the husband; five sons, Delos of Firebaugh, Calif., Boatswain 2c Norman Clark, stationed at San Diego, Calif., Robert and Charles of Rossville and Harold of this city; three daughters, Mrs. Junior Balser of Independence, Mrs. James Frost and Mrs. Donald Mullendore, city; her mother, Mrs. Clinton Saidla of Kalamazoo, Mich.; and three half-brothers, Glen and Howard Saidla of Kalamazoo, and Donald of Marcellus, Mich.
