Death of Mrs. Leah Watson
The community extends sympathy to Andrew Watson and family at the sad loss of the former's mother, Mrs. Leah Watson, who passed away at the home of her eldest daughter, Mrs. Maggie Belt of Marceline, on Monday evening, Sept. 22. Burial was made at Mt Tabor Wednesday afternoon by the side of her husband Bill Watson, who passed away a few years ago.
One rare instance among their lives was that this couple birthdays occurred on the same day, Mr. Watson being three years her senior. Other relatives of the vicinity is a niece, Mrs. Gussie Davis, a great nephew, Denver Davis, a great niece Mrs. Pearle Lee, another great niece Mrs. Susie Collins, great great niece Gaile, and Barbara Anna Collins, great-great nephews, Lawrence and Donald Lea.
