OBITUARY.

Lewis Grant Sackett was born in Sangiman county, Ill., March 12, 1894 and passed away at the home of hit sister, Mrs. Wm. Watson of Atlanta July 13, 1923, after a long and lingering illness. Mr. Sackett was never married and after the death of his father and mother be made bis home with his brother, Tom Sackett and family until Tom passed away.

Perhaps no man in nil the vicinity of Ten Mile was better known and more highly respected than Grant Sackett.

He leaves to mourn their loss one sister, Mrs. Watson of Atlanta and two brothers, Henry of Ten Mile and Winfield of Sarah, Okla., and a large number of nephews and nieces.

Funeral services were held at Ten Mile Baptist church Sunday morning, July 15, at 11 o'clock, conducted by W. R. Skinner of Macon and interment in a nearby cemetery.

Mr. Sackett professed faith in Christ some time before his death and said he was ready and willing to meet his Saviour (sic).
