THOMAS SACKETT

Thomas Sackeitt was born February 2. 1862--Died Monday evening Aug. 20, at 6 p. m.

He was married to Miss Amanda Hanks about 38 years ago. To this union was born 8 children. One passed away about 20 years of age.

Willie, Ben, Jim, Ollie Highhouse, Laura, Archer (sic; should be Laura Archer), live in Billings, Montana. Annie Nisbeth and Flossie Lyda live in Macon County.

Mr. Sackett united with the Baptist church about 30 years ago. He was an honored member of the I. O. O. F. and Modern Woodmen Lodges. There are also left to mourn their loss 3 brothers and 1 sister, Grant L. and Henry Sackett, Atlanta Mo. Wlnfield of Arkansas, Mrs. Watson, Atlanta. Fifteen grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Ten Mile Baptist church Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock, conducted by W. R. Skinner assisted by the orders of which he was a member in the presence of some 500 relatives and friends internment in Ten Mile cemetery.
