Mary Tessman Marshall, age 96, of Warrens, Wisconsin, passed away March 16, 2013, at Agape Acres in Warrens, Wisconsin. She was born August 6, 1916 in the Town of Knapp, Jackson County, WI, to Alfred W. "Fred" and Clara (Walworth) Jay. Mary was united in marriage to Floyd Tessman. After Floyd's passing in 1974, she married George Marshall.

Mary worked at the Tomah VA Medical Center in the housekeeping department. She loved her family more than anything and will be sadly missed.

Mary is survived by her grandchildren, Tom (Deb) Tessman, Todd (Kara) Tessman and Tami (Mack) Matthews all of Warrens, WI, Jill Wehling of Minneapolis, MN, 9 great grandchildren, Shayla Tessman, Dusty Tessman, Wren Tessman, Tera Prissel, Tessa Prissel, Wyatt Matthews, Blake, Benjamin and Braden Wehling, her sister, Caroline Kersting of Black River Falls, WI, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Clara Jay, her husbands, Floyd Tessman and George Marshall, a son, Ronald Tessman and siblings, Bert Jay, Alfred Jay, Tom Swift, Sadie Lambert and Florence Duncan.

Funeral services were held Saturday, March 23, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kirby, WI. Pastor Phillip Enderle officiated. Burial followed in the Mount Vernon Cemetery, Tomah, WI. Family and friends were invited for visitation Friday, March 22, 2013, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Tomah. Family and friends were also invited for visitation Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church. The Torkelson Funeral Home of Tomah assisted the family with arrangements.
